The Cookware Company, known for its ceramic non-stick cookware sold under the GreenPan brand, is moving into 4,780 square feet of space at 660 White Plains Road, more than double the 2,058 square feet of space it occupied at 120 White Plains Road about a mile away.
The larger space is needed for a growing staff and a larger product line, according to the company, which has doubled its U.S. sales and support staff in the last six months.
Th Cookware Company also expects to hire more staff before the end of the year. Globally, the Belgium-based company reported a 50 percent sales increase in 2013 over 2012.
“Our US sales team has done a tremendous job of growing our relationships with retailers and .coms nationwide, who are now carrying our products,” Cookware Company vice-president Dieter Naessens said in a statement.
The Cookware Company’s retail partners include Macy’s, Target, West Elm and Amazon.com, among others.
