Abt’s responsibilities will include creating new business opportunities in Westchester County, as well as assisting in the bank’s overall growth of commercial loans and deposits.
Abt was most recently with Mahopac National Bank as a regional vice president, commercial lender.
Previously, Abt was at Provident Bank (now Sterling National Bank) as a vice president, commercial lender; he worked for Andover Brokerage as an equities trader.
Abt is also a board member & chairman of the administrative committee for The United Way of Westchester and Putnam County.
The Middletown, N.Y.-based bank has five branches in the Hudson Valley, with one in White Plains.
